The Forum will include a panel on Race, Politics & Faith. The roundtable discussion will include the following outstanding guests:

Mrs. Barbara Hamm Lee – The Executive Producer and Host of Another View, a weekly call in talk show that “discusses today’s issues from an African American perspective”.   

Rev. Tony Suarez – The Executive Vice President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Suarez has been an outspoken national spokesperson on the issue of Immigration Reform. 

Father Jim Curran – The Rector at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Norfolk, VA. Fr. Jim has been outspoken on a range of social concerns with particular interest in race relations.

Rev. Jim Wood – Senior Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. Pastor Jim is very concerned about bearing witness to Christ in the public square. His leadership expands from the urban sector to international grounds in Kenya and beyond. Rev. Jim is a prophetic voice on racial and ethnic unity. 

Rev. Ray Johnson – Senior Pastor at Calvary Revival Church Peninsula in Newport News, VA. Rev. Johnson has been a politician. His ministry is concerned about Kingdom presence in the church and community. Among many other issues of concern, Rev. Johnson is particularly concerned about economics and the family.
